Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Shoreward Health (“Shoreward,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information through our website at shorewardhealth.com (the “Site”). It covers this website only. Our software products, when you use them, are covered by the agreement and privacy terms provided with them.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to understand how the Site is used:

• Information you send us: When you use the contact form, we collect your name, work email address, facility or organization name, phone number (optional), the reason you are contacting us, the products you are interested in, and your message.
• Usage information: Through Google Analytics, we collect information about how you use the Site, such as pages viewed, time on page, referring website, general location (city and country), browser and device type, and whether a contact form was submitted.
• Technical information: Like most websites, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver and secure the Site. To prevent spam, we also limit how often the contact form can be used from one IP address or email address. For that purpose we store only a one-way hashed (scrambled) version of each, never the address itself.

We do not ask for, and ask that you not send us through the Site, any protected health information or personal information about residents or patients.

3. How We Use Information

• To respond to your demo request, partnership inquiry, idea, or question.
• To follow up about Shoreward products and services you have expressed interest in.
• To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
• To protect the Site and the contact form from spam, abuse, and security threats.

4. Information Sharing

We share information with service providers solely to operate the Site: Vercel for hosting, Resend for delivering contact-form messages to our team, Upstash for spam protection (rate limiting), and Google for analytics. These providers process information on our behalf and under their own privacy and security commitments.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use advertising pixels or social media trackers on the Site. We may disclose information if required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect the usage information described in Section 2. We use Google Analytics for measurement only, not for advertising, and we do not enable Google Analytics advertising features.

6. Communications

We use the contact information you provide to reply to you and to follow up about your inquiry. From time to time we may also send product updates we think may interest you. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time by replying to any of them or contacting contact@shorewardhealth.com.

7. Data Retention

We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business relationship, and delete them on request. Spam-protection counters expire automatically within 10 days. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. Shoreward operates from the United States and stores and processes information there.

8. Security

The Site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and our service providers use industry-standard security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information you share with us.

9. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact contact@shorewardhealth.com and we will delete it.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, including California, Texas, and other states with comparable privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct, or delete it, and not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. As described in Section 4, we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
